BIO

I am Johanna Gallego Hernández, a specialist in audiovisual productions focused on the construction of renewable energy projects. I have more than 20 years of experience in the audiovisual world, with training in film in the European Film College, Denmark and the ECAM (School of Cinematography and Audiovisual of the Community of Madrid).

In 2012 I had the opportunity to go live in South Africa and witness first-hand the construction of one of the country's first wind farms, located in the beautiful coastal town of Oyster Bay. I was the creator of the documentary “Kouga Wind Farm, the full Construction story” which narrates all phases of construction of the wind farm, including civil works, electrical infrastructure, transportation, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as environmental protection measures and development of the local community.

A few years later I moved to the United States where I made a promotional video for the wind turbine manufacturer Nordex about the High Lonesome project, located in Texas and which at that time became the largest wind farm installed by Nordex to date.

I am currently collaborating in Spain with the renewable energy promoter, BayWa r.e. in making videos that show the different phases of the construction of a pioneering project in the company that combines the installation of wind farm components and photovoltaic solar plants on the same site, thus optimizing the use of the electrical network and reducing the environmental impact.

I am passionate about collaborating in giving visibility to renewable energy projects, contributing my cinematographic vision to the audiovisual material I create for my clients. I do both the filming and the subsequent editing myself, offering very competitive proposals that add value to the projects.
